درجة الماجستير
درجة دراسات عليا تتطلب 1-2 سنة بعد البكالوريوس، وتقدم دراسة متقدمة في مجال محدد. تشمل MA وMS وMEng وبرامج ماجستير متخصصة.
تمثل درجة الماجستير المستوى الأول من الدراسات العليا، وتتطلب عادة 1-2 سنة من المقررات المتقدمة وغالبًا أطروحة أو مشروع تخرج. وتشمل الأنواع الشائعة ماجستير الآداب (MA)، وماجستير العلوم (MS/MSc)، وماجستير الهندسة (MEng)، والماجستير المهني مثل MBA وMPA. وضمن إطار عملية بولونيا، تعادل درجة الماجستير 90-120 ساعة معتمدة ECTS. وتقدم بعض المجالات كالهندسة والعمارة برامج ماجستير متكاملة تجمع دراسة البكالوريوس والماجستير في درجة واحدة مدتها 5 سنوات.
