GMAT

Graduate Management Admission Test — a standardized exam used for MBA and business school admissions, testing analytical writing, reasoning, and quantitative skills. Scored 200-800.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is the traditional standardized test for MBA and business school admissions, administered by GMAC. The GMAT Focus Edition (launched 2023) tests quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and data insights on a 205-805 scale. Top MBA programs like Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton report median GMAT scores above 730. While the GMAT remains the preferred test for business school admissions, most programs now also accept GRE scores.
