EQUIS Accreditation
European Quality Improvement System — an international accreditation for business schools focusing on governance, programs, students, faculty, research, internationalization, and ethics.
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is an international accreditation system for business schools administered by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). Unlike AACSB's focus on individual programs, EQUIS evaluates the entire business school holistically across ten dimensions including governance, programs, research, internationalization, ethics, and social responsibility. EQUIS accreditation is held by approximately 200 schools worldwide. Schools holding both AACSB and EQUIS accreditation (plus AMBA for MBA programs) achieve 'triple crown' status — an elite designation held by fewer than 100 institutions globally.
