ऐसा शोध जो दो या अधिक शैक्षणिक विषयों की विधियों, सिद्धांतों या दृष्टिकोणों को एकीकृत करता है ताकि उन जटिल समस्याओं को हल किया जा सके जिन्हें एकल क्षेत्र के भीतर हल नहीं किया जा सकता।
