📐 Standardized Testing
GRE
Graduate Record Examination — a standardized test required for admission to many graduate programs, testing verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is administered by ETS and required or accepted by thousands of graduate programs worldwide. The revised General Test measures verbal reasoning (130-170), quantitative reasoning (130-170), and analytical writing (0-6). Subject-specific GRE tests are also available in fields like Physics, Mathematics, and Psychology. Some graduate programs have moved to GRE-optional policies, and business schools increasingly accept the GRE as an alternative to the GMAT.
