The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) is administered by ETS and accepted by over 12,000 institutions in 160+ countries. The test measures reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills, with each section scored 0-30 for a total of 0-120. Most competitive universities require minimum scores of 90-100, with some top programs expecting 100+. TOEFL scores are valid for two years and can be taken at test centers or at home under proctored conditions.
