An admission policy where applications are reviewed as they arrive rather than after a fixed deadline, with decisions sent on a continuous basis.
Rolling admissions is a flexible policy where universities evaluate applications as they are received and issue decisions within weeks rather than waiting for a single decision date. This approach is common at large public universities and can extend from early fall through late spring. Applying early in the cycle is generally advantageous, as available seats decrease over time. Rolling admissions provides certainty faster but typically offers less time to compare offers.
