Global Top 100 Universities

The Top 100 list is based on the UniRanks global ranking, which aggregates data from multiple ranking sources including QS, THE, and ARWU. The ranking considers research output, academic reputation, employer reputation, and international diversity.

The ranking is updated annually when new data from major ranking organizations (QS, THE, ARWU) becomes available, typically between June and October each year. Historical ranking snapshots are preserved for comparison.

The United States and United Kingdom consistently have the most universities in the global Top 100. Other countries with strong representation include Australia, Germany, China, Canada, Netherlands, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea.
