Higher Education in Botswana

Botswana's higher education system is small but steadily expanding, with the University of Botswana (1982) as the flagship public institution and Botho University among the prominent private providers. The Botswana Qualifications Authority oversees accreditation. English is the language of instruction, and the government has invested in tertiary expansion to reduce dependence on skilled labour imports.
