Higher Education in Latvia
Latvia's higher education system comprises around 30 accredited institutions — universities, university colleges, and academies — overseen by the Higher Education Quality Evaluation Centre (AIC). The University of Latvia and Riga Technical University are the largest institutions and are integrated into European research networks. Following Bologna Process implementation, Latvia fully aligns with EU higher education standards, and many programs are offered in both Latvian and English.
