Higher Education in Seychelles
The Seychelles Institute of Technology and the University of Seychelles (UniSey), established in 2009, form the core of the country's small higher education sector. Given the limited range of programmes available domestically, many Seychellois pursue degrees abroad, with the government providing scholarships to support study in Mauritius, India, the United Kingdom, and other partner countries. English and French are both official languages of instruction.
