Acceptance rate data availability varies by country. South Korea mandates public disclosure through the University Information Disclosure Act. In many other countries, acceptance rates are not standardized or publicly reported. We display data where reliable sources exist.
Lower acceptance rates generally indicate higher selectivity, but this can be influenced by factors like application volume, program capacity, and country-specific admission systems. Some universities with high acceptance rates still offer excellent education, while low rates may reflect high demand rather than academic quality alone.
