🎓 Academic Programs & Degrees

Business School

A university division or standalone institution specializing in business administration, management, finance, and related disciplines.

Business schools offer undergraduate (BBA), graduate (MBA, MSc), and doctoral programs in business and management. The MBA (Master of Business Administration) is the flagship degree, with top programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB, Wharton (Penn), INSEAD, and London Business School commanding tuition of $150,000-$230,000 for the full program. Business school rankings by the Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, and US News significantly influence applicant choices and employer recruiting. Triple accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) is considered the gold standard — only about 100 schools worldwide hold all three. Return on investment varies enormously: top MBA graduates earn median salaries of $150,000-$175,000 post-graduation, while lower-ranked programs may not justify the investment. The rise of online MBAs and specialized masters (in finance, data analytics, marketing) is fragmenting the traditional MBA market.
